Recipe Type*: Indian Snack
Ingredients and Recipe*: Serving for 4 - 5 people
Vegetable Refined Oil - 3 1/2 table spoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Green Chillies - Slit in halves
Onions - 2 large (Chopped)
Potatoes - 1 large (Chopped)
Carrot - 1 large chopped
Capsicum - 2 small (Chopped)
Tomatoes - 2 small (Chopped)
Coriander Leaves - (Chopped)
Lemon Juice - 1 table spoon
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Take a large frying pan, pour oil and heat it. Now add mustard seeds and slit chillies and let it crackle.
Add onions and stir fry till it turns a golden brown in color. Add chopped potatoes and salt to taste and cover the pan with a lid. Leave it on sim flame for two minutes.
Open the lid and add all other vegetables to it, let the vegetables cook for a minute or two.
In the meantime when the vegetables cook, take water in a large bowl. Soak Chiwda/poha for a few seconds (till it softens) and drain the water. Transfer the drained poha in a dry plate. Sprinkle black pepper, black salt, sugar and lemon juice to it.
Add this poha to the cooked vegetables in the pan. Mix it well and cook for 5 minutes. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and you may now serve a very colorful and healthy poha.
Enjoy it with Sev bhujia and ketch up.

ReplyDeleteRightly said. Moreover, Richa had made this Poha on Holi and it was so colourful. It was more tempting to look at. For, once I thought, let us showcase it and then we finally, clicked the photo.
ReplyDeleteNever in my life before, had I seen such a colourful Poha but then it tasted as amazing as it looked. I would suggest you try this as well.
